The amazing Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA

The view from this particular spot is a bit unusual (so the plaque nearby states). Most views from the South Rim face north, but this is looking somewhat to the east. At the Grand Canyon, distance and size are very deceptive (see the notes I added on the picture).

Below are more images taken on the one and only day (and it was getting late in the day, too!) I managed to see the Grand Canyon while in Arizona in March 2011.
